Compacon is a leading company when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We highly value the importance of the social imprint from our suppliers and monitor it carefully. Certifications, factory audits, our Code of Conduct, and the SA8000 qualifications are important tools to assure our clients (and ourselves) of responsibly produced products. Compacon also pays attention to people and the environment. This is reflected in our ISO certifications and Platinum EcoVadis rating.  Whether it is the proposals we are working on, the factories we are approaching, or the products we develop – care for people and the environment is an important part of our strategy!

 EcoVadis 2020

Compacon holds a Platinum EcoVadis rating, but what does that mean? EcoVadis is a classification for suppliers who are responsible for working on CSR and sustainability. Additionally, EcoVadis is a collaborative platform that enables companies to evaluate the sustainability performance of their suppliers, spread across 150 sectors, and 110 countries. Reliable evaluations and easy-to-use evaluation tools allow companies to manage the risks and encourage eco-innovations in their global production chains.

ISO 14001 ISO 9001

ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

CSR and compliance are topics that are gaining more importance and attention, also among regulators. Compacon is an early adapter in the promotional industry and has an ISO 9001 (international standard for quality management systems) and ISO 14001 (international standard for environmental management system) certification. Part of the ISO 14001 certification is describing the measures to achieve and maintain a sustainable character in our business processes.

Social Compliance

In reference to social compliance, we set high standards for ourselves and follow international standards such as SA 8000, SMETA, and BSCI.

Code of Conduct

Compacon has also established its own Code of Conduct that factories must comply with. This document outlines all the important terms regarding working conditions. In doing so, we exclude things like child and forced labor, oversee market-based rewards, ensure good working conditions, and freedom of expression.
